Kanab Pant is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 28.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for Climbing Really liking the kanab pant. I am 5'3, 120 lbs, got the xs and it fits great. Also a xs in the avril and 0 in the halle for reference. The material is soft and thick. The pockets are HUGE. They can all fit a full size phone with a case. The leg pocket is almost too big and bulky. The ankle cuff is nice. If you have larger hips but a small waist, you may have trouble getting the pants on - the top of the waistband is not stretch at all. But this does ensure that they do not fall down - I never have to pull them up, even on sit starts bouldering. Plenty of room in the knees for big moves. Great for climbing, but not as versatile as the avril or halle.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Pants Ever I am STOKED about these pants! The material is awesome. It feels durable, yet soft and comfy at the same time. The cuffed ankles are great if you're a climber or bicycle commuter like I am. I LOVE the big pockets that can actually hold things without it feeling bunched up in my hip crease. I am 5'8" and 125 lbs. I got the Small. They fit just how I like - snug around the waist/hips and loose around the thighs/legs. Not too loose though, I wouldn't say these look baggy. These are my absolute favorite pants now! Prana - PLEASE make more colors like yellow and burnt caramel so I can replace my Avril pants.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great all-around pants! The Kanab pants will definitely be a greatest hit in my outdoor apparel collection. I love the construction - durable but stretchy fabric, soft and comfortable waist and ankle bands, and zipped harness-compatible pockets. The pants feel like pajamas but have stood up to some wear and tear already between climbs and canyons. Fit is typical for Prana. However, as a smaller person (33.5" hips), size XS is big on me - while I love these pants enough to make it work, I'd prefer a XXS. Prana, please continue creating garments in hard-to-find sizes on both ends of the spectrum!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from cute with one tweak needed I love everything about these pants... except, the elastic on the bottom is too loose - the pants would be perfect if they were another inch or 2 shorter so they would be just above the ankle instead of just below... Other than that, they are very comfortable and flattering on top. I tried hiking up the bottom but they didnt stay up at the spot I wanted them to be. I would have to pull them further up and it would just look stupid lol. Basically, if the elastic was tighter and they were shorter I'd order more colors.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not for short girls I'm 5'3", 110 lbs. I got the XS. In the waist, the fit was perfect. I loved the rise. The fabric was VERY nice, could wear on warmer days and it felt like it would be very breathable. However, it was big and baggy in the legs. I did come down to my ankles, but when I hiked them up a little bit, the fabric was just silly-looking on my legs. I think this style looks better on maybe a 5'6" woman. Loved the fabric. Wish they had worked out. I'm considering the knee pant, but I like more of my leg covered climbing.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Rad climbing pant I'm 5'3 and 128 lbs and ordered a small. They fit well initially/when they were just washed and dried, but they do tend to stretch quite a bit throughout the day as I wear them. The downside of this is that then they start sagging and there is no adjustable waste band to cinch them tight again. I appreciate that the waistband is high enough to fit comfortably with a harness. Other than that, they're comfy and have a durable fabric that is RRG tested!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The perfect pant has finally been created!! OMG ladies. I have been a die hard Halle pant wearer for years but these pants just snatched that award mostly because they actually have pockets and are legit more comfortable. For reference I am 5'7" 165 lb with a 43" hip and 30" waist so you can imagine from those measurements how hard pants that fit well are to find. I ordered a large and these are my dream pant. Seriously Prana can you make these in more colors and darker colors!? I bought the grey and when they arrived I tried them on and immediately ordered the red and would snatch up some black, green, blue etc in a heartbeat. The pockets are deep!! Like my phone fits in the pocket, my keys fit in the pockets. The waistband feels like leggings i.e. super comfy and no plumbers crack when I squat down. The pants look good and are just stretchy enough to be comfortable. Will 300% be buying more of these if they release more colors, I highly recommend.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Dang it, too big! I just received the Kanab pants, and I love everything about them. The waist band is comfy, the reddish color is fun, and the material feels nice and durable. I am 5'10" and 150 pounds, and I ordered a medium. Unfortunately, they are a little too big, so I'm sending them back. Fingers crossed that they get smalls back in stock soon, because I really want a pair of these pants!

I'm curious to know how deep the pockets are on these pants. I recently tried on the Avril pants, and was disappointed in the small pockets. Are these any larger?

Asked by: Sharmila
Pockets are very large! The front, back and leg pockets can all fit a cell phone with a bulky case.

Can anyone speak to the weight of the fabric? Is it heavy or light, or in between? Thanks!

Asked by: Heidi
I would say in between. It reminds me of the halle pant weight but with more of a cotton than synthetic feel.

Do these have a drawstring at the waist?

Asked by: Anonymous
Nope! It's a flat waistband similar to yoga pants except it's looser.
